Podiatry / Shoeing

Therapeutic shoeing is offered at Crossroads Veterinary Clinic, which is typically performed with radiographic (x-ray) guidance. We are passionate about fostering a positive relationship with the veterinarian and the farrier– both professionals working towards a common goal of achieving well balanced feet and soundness for your horse. We are able to work with both your personal farrier and select in-house farriers, depending on the degree of specialized of shoeing that is required.

Our staff is passionate about podiatry, and has received supplemental training and education on therapeutic shoeing for conditions including navicular disease, club feet, and laminitis. We strive to stay current in the latest advances in research involving shoeing techniques and the management of conditions affecting the equine foot.
