Ophthalmic examinations are performed to help identify conditions affecting the eye including corneal ulceration, Equine Recurrent Uveitis (ERU), ocular neoplasia and foreign bodies.

​Most conditions affecting your horse’s eye should be evaluated by a veterinarian urgently, as prompt treatment is important to prevent irreversible damage.
