Who We Are
Crossroads Veterinary Clinic is a privately owned equine practice that was formed in 2002. This clinic employs experienced equine veterinarians with specialty training to provide referral level medicine to horses in the northern California and southern Oregon region. The practice underwent a change in ownership in 2023, where it was acquired by Dr. Kelly Shaw and Dr. Karen Shaw.
Crossroads Veterinary Clinic, along with its partner clinic Panorama Equine Medical and Surgical Center, offers a variety of services ranging from surgery, sports medicine and rehabilitation, pre-purchase examinations, spinal manipulation, equine podiatry, emergency and critical care, comprehensive diagnostic imaging, and more.
As a Trinity Equine hospital, we are committed to providing a high standard of care with a focus on cutting edge diagnostics and treatments. Veterinarians on staff stay current with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine by attending continuing education meetings in their respective fields.

Our Facilities
The main hospital is designed to facilitate everything from routine exams and procedures to surgery under general anesthesia. It includes two main treatment rooms with stocks and a digital scale. ICU stalls have video surveillance to monitor intensive care cases, post-operative patients, and pregnant mares on foal watch. The main hospital also includes a well-equipped laboratory to run in-house bloodwork, fecal examinations, urinalysis, and additional stall-side tests.
The original site building includes our reception and office areas, overhead radiology room, and a designated isolation stall. Additional hospital stalls and outdoor covered paddocks with runs are available for less intensive patients.
