Externship Program
We invite veterinary students in their third or final year of their training to apply for a two to six week externship at Crossroads Veterinary Clinic. During this time you will be under direct supervision of the veterinary staff, while gaining exposure to equine medicine in a private practice setting. We see a varied case load, from routine health care to specialty referrals and emergencies. There will be opportunities for you to practice clinical skills, receive personalized didactic teaching, and participate in case rounds.

Internship Program

Crossroads Veterinary Clinic is pleased to announce that we will be hiring a full time intern this year! We invite you to become part our team, for a 12-month internship starting in July, and lasting until June. We welcome all recently qualified veterinarians from AVMA accredited veterinary schools, looking to expand upon their clinical and surgical skills. Whether you are interested in general private practice, or pursuing further specialty training, this position will help you further develop and refine your skills in a supportive environment with appropriate mentorship.
An internship with us will provide you with opportunities in managing cases (on a routine and emergency basis), interacting with clients, assisting/performing surgery, and in monitoring anesthesia. You will also have after hours responsibilities in caring for hospitalized patients. There is an on-site apartment that may be available to you, if desired.
