Emergency Services
We provide in-house emergency services both during the day and out of hours. In the event of an emergency, contact our clinic at (530) 365-3685.
Outside of clinic hours, you will be transferred to the veterinarian on call. If you reach a voicemail, please leave a message and someone will be with you shortly. In the event that you do not receive a call back within 15-20 minutes, please call again as our staff was likely with another emergency.
Examples of emergencies:
- Colic / Severe abdominal pain
- Lacerations (especially wounds near joints)
- Acute onset lameness
- Fever and lethargy
- Dystocia, or difficulty foaling
- Laminitis
- Painful eye
- Down horse, unable to stand
- Fracture
